We employ many different guides in our adventures. Our lead guides are all trained in First Aid and have diverse experience in the biking, safety, and service industries. Sometimes we have "celebrity" guides. These are invariably professional cyclists who are often regarded as the best in their field. We also utilize local guides, who are essential in finding the goods in such a vast area as British Columbia. As often as not, you can ride with the actual trail builder on their own work.
LEAD GUIDES --------------------------------------

Johnny Smoke
Age: 36
Riding Since: 1981
Advanced Wilderness 1st Aid
CPR 'C'
Johnny Smoke has been in the North Shore bike scene nearly since it's inception. A long time employee of Cove Bikes, he's forgotten more trails than most people will ever hear about. A pioneer of the freeride style years before the term was coined, he continues to push the boundaries of the role of the bicycle. Freeride, chainless, single-speed......if it's got two wheels, you can bet that Smoke is using it inappropriately.

Barb Haley
Age: 36
Riding Since: 1993
Former Canadian National DH Champ
Fully certified Emergency First Response Technician
First Aid Instructor
If you've ever thought that there was a limit to what a girl can do on
a bike, get ready for that big slice of humble pie. Barb's biggest thrill
is de-pantsing the big ego boys on the trail. Here list of racing victories
won't fit on this page, and the same goes for her First Aid qualifications.
